Dr Stiffler graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in May 1978, and shortly after he opened his practice in Bedford, PA. March 1, 2018, Dr Stiffler sold his practice to Dr Kyle Dumpert.
“I took the task of finding my replacement very seriously and chose a person I felt would continue my philosophy of providing the same high level of dental care you and your family have become accustomed to receiving,” Stiffler said in a letter he wrote to his patients.
Looking back on the years, Stiffler said he enjoyed getting the opportunity to speak to his patients.
“I truly appreciate the support this community has given me over the years,”
Stiffler said some of his best memories of working included helping people in need.
“I did countless cases of donated dental service for free,” he said. “Mostly for people who were financially destitute or very ill.”
Stiffler said it was a blessing to help them.
“They paid with a great big hug and eyes full of tears,”
He added he would like to continue helping others through dental work.
“When I retire, I hope to do some dental missionary work,” he said. “But for now, I will continue to work in a reduced role.”
